Me!
Hi!, My name’s Jim and I've been training in Tae Kwon-Do for over 7 years.
I enjoy all aspects of Tae Kwon-Do from linework to sparring, patterns and destruction.
I have been taught to a very high technical standard in Tae Kwon-Do by Sheryl Freer and I very much enjoy passing that knowledge on to fellow students of various abilities whether they are children or adults.
I always give 100% effort [and more!] whenever I train and I hope that my efforts inspire my fellow students to do the same!
My most favourite aspect of Tae Kwon-Do are the patterns. Patterns are challenging but I am very keen to learn new patterns and I am always trying to perfect the existing patterns that I know.
I feel an immense sense of pride and satisfaction when students take onboard the advice that you give them especially the senior grades when "tweaking" their patterns or techniques.
I run my own children's martial arts club at Brookvale High School now, aimed specifically at children between the ages of 4 to 8 years old.
It's fun, and above all challenging but I enjoy a challenge!
What’s my favourite breaking technique? It has to be a high section turning kick!
